Temporary access sized to the job
Place mats end to end for a travel lane, side by side where equipment turns, and in wider groups at loading or work areas. Because the route is modular, crews can adjust it as the job moves.
- Equipment routes across lawns and sensitive property
- Temporary access from street or drive to the work zone
- Wider corners for loaders, lifts, and mini excavators
- Staging pads for repeated traffic and material handling
- Reusable alternative to disposable plywood routes
How many mats do I need?
Divide the route length by eight feet to estimate mats for one continuous lane, then account for the lane width, turns, overlap or connection method, and staging areas. Send us the approximate route and equipment type if you want help building a practical quantity.
Portable 3×8 and 4×8 HDPE mats are intended for contractor equipment access. Large industrial projects, extreme soft-ground conditions, tracked machinery, or concentrated crane loads may require a different engineered mat system.
